Campbellville, Ont. – May 19, 2017 – UFCW Canada Local 12R24 is encouraging all members, officers, staff, and their families to join us on July 15 for the annual UFCW Canada Ride for a Cure & Poker Run.
Participants will meet at the UFCW Canada Local 1006A head office on 70 Creditview Road in Vaughan at 8:30am, when registration begins. The ride will then start at 9:30am, ending at the UFCW Canada Locals 175 & 633 head office in Mississauga for a barbecue and prize ceremony.
Prizes will be awarded for the Most Pledges Raised, Riders’ Choice, Show N’ Shine, and Best & Worst Poker Hands.
The minimum pledge is $75 per rider and $25 per passenger, which gives you an event t-shirt, raffle ticket, food, and refreshments. Returning riders will receive a special draw ticket for each new rider that they bring to this year’s event.
