Over the past few weeks, UFCW Local 12R24 members across Ontario participated in nomination processes as part of the procedure for selecting their union officers.
The general chairperson of the election committee has advised that this process is now concluded.
UFCW Local 12R24 members need your support in the face of an Ontario government plan to undermine the good union jobs of more than 7,000 members working at The Beer Store.
I am pleased to announce a 3-year collective agreement, expiring December 31, 2023, was ratified on August 26, 2021.
The four-year term of the present Executive Board expires on December 31, 2021. Under the Constitution and Bylaws of the United Food and Commercial Workers Canada (UFCW Canada) and UFCW Local 12R24, nominations and elections will be held according to the process explained in this notice.
