Thank you for supporting the 'Best Case for Beer' in Ontario!

TORONTO, ONTARIO - (April 17, 2015) - The Union representing Beer Store workers across Ontario welcomes the announcement of new investment in existing Beer Store locations but maintains that the current system for selling beer is still best for ensuring a higher standard of safety and social responsibility for consumers, workers and citizens alike.

UFCW Canada Local 12R24 recently held their semi annual MAP Conference in Niagara Falls.  Approximately 80 MAP reps were in attendance and enjoyed three days of training to help them in their workplaces.  This very important program has been a long standing benefit for our Sisters and Brothers and we thank these reps for volunteering to handle this very important role.

    Meaford, Ont. – September 23, 2017 – UFCW Canada Local 1006A members working at Canada Catering in Meaford, Ontario have ratified their first collective agreement, which brings wage increases and a new health and welfare benefit plan.

    Calgary – September 22, 2017 – Earlier this year, Alberta’s former Wildrose and Progressive Conservative parties voted to join forces and form the United Conservative Party (UCP) in order to liberate Alberta from the NDP government they claim Alberta voters accidently elected.
